This book is a wide-ranging synthesis of all the processes involved in pottery, focusing particularly on its most artistic aspects. It offers an extensive chapter devoted to glazes and enamels to be used at both low and high temperature, and among them it describes in detail the processes involving biological – and thus non-toxic – glazes based on ash, as well as the techniques of rakú and the mixture with paper pulp, which offers extremely interesting results.
